Historic Prairie home restoration with a truly inspired
seamless addition to the original John Van Bergen
architecture. Over 1.25 miles of oak trim, quarter-sawn oak
cabinets, 2 fireplaces and much much more. Click on an area

This
architecturally significant Prairie home was built by John S.
Van Bergen in 1914 and is flanked by two other
Van Bergen homes. Exceptional original details include an open floor plan,
generous oak woodwork, and a Roman brick fireplace. The home
has been meticulously restored in keeping with its Prairie
origins. A 2500-sq. foot addition--a duplicate of the
original structure--joins the original home with a stunning,
open, 2-story glass atrium. On the second floor, a bridge
crosses the atrium, connecting the existing structure to the
new master suite.
